Staff, family and friends of Enchanted Forest Greenock joined together at Cruden Hall on Saturday 4th April for a wonderful evening of boogying, bingo and fundraising.
With the aim of raising funds for the Beatson Cancer charity, nursery manager Jennifer Marshall and assistant manager Stephanie Bradley worked with their dedicated staff and local DJ, Robbie Riot to organise a night to be remembered. Activities included a ‘Staff Stars in their Eyes’ featuring an excellent line up of participants singing for their captive audience, followed by a huge raffle with amazing prizes as well as a good old fashioned game of bingo!
Entertainment was organised by DJ Robbie Riot with special appearances from band ‘Beat Movement’ and two other local DJ’s who ensured that everyone was kept dancing all night long! Photographer Lee Barros was also on hand to capture all of the night’s activities with some wonderful photographs!
Jennifer, nursery manager commented:
‘We are so happy to be raising funds for such a great charity! I would like to give a huge thank you to all of our staff at Enchanted Forest Greenock who worked so hard to make this night a success and a special thank you to DJ Robbie Riot who has supported this event and helped us every step of the way. I am ecstatic to announce that we raised over a whopping £2500 for the Beatson Cancer Trust. Thank you to everyone who attended and generously donated.
The nursery chain chose the Beatson Cancer Charity as their nominated charity for 2014/15 with a target of raising £10,000 as a result of both small and large fundraising events. They have also launched 100- 4 Beatson ensuring that each member of their staff can get involved in raising funds for the Beatson Cancer Charity.
Having raised over £2500 with ‘Boogie for the Beatson’ Enchanted Forest are well on their way to reaching this ambitious target!
