Greenock Chamber of Commerce has announced the companies selected as finalists for its Bee’s Knees Awards 2014 and Enchanted Forest Nurseries are honoured to be named finalists. This is the 11th year for the awards initiative, which throws the spotlight on Inverclyde’s top businesses.

One winner in each of the ten categories will be announced to a business audience at the glittering Bee’s Knees Awards and Gala Dinner in the Marquee at the Chartroom, Kip Marina, on Friday 6 June 2014.

Enchanted Forest Nurseries have reached the final of the ‘Customer Focus’ award for the third year running, having won the accolade in 2013 and 2012.

This year, Enchanted Forest Nurseries have also reached the finals in the ‘Excellence in Skills and Learning’ category.

Entering in two toughly contested categories, Mariessa Devlin (Managing Director) commented  “To be announced as finalists for these prestigious awards provides recognition to our staff of the great role they play in serving our children, families and the wider community as our customers.  We know that we are only as good as our last day, however by focusing on the Skills and Learning of our staff, we believe this has a direct impact on the learning of our children, as well as shaping our staff as leaders in their own learning.  I was delighted to be accompanied by two members of staff when presenting  to the Bees Knees judging panel – Lindsay McLellan a former Modern Apprentice who has now progressed to become a Team Leader and Kirandeep Kaur one of our current Modern Apprentices – both of whom did Enchanted Forest proud.’
