An enchanting world awaits those who visit Enchanted Forest Inverkip, which is located in the heart of the village.
Here we provide award-winning early learning and childcare for 76 children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. We have a dual partnership and work with Inverclyde and North Ayrshire Council to deliver Scottish Government funded pre-school education and focus on living up to their Grade 5 Care Inspectorate Grades by providing the very best for children.
Nursery Manager, Laura Jack is highly experienced in all aspects of Early Learning and Childcare and is particularly skilled in delivering high-quality care across all areas.
Our staff team are all paediatric first aid trained and are committed to the Enchanted Forest ethos of providing flexible, high quality early learning and childcare to families and focus on providing a bespoke service for each family.
“We couldn’t imagine a better environment or group of people to entrust our little girl to four days a week and to whom she looks to on a daily basis for guidance, care and development. We know that our daughter loves coming to nursery and it has been a key part of her growing up and ‘coming out of her shell’ over the past couple of years. As our only child, she is our entire world and it genuinely gives us a great deal of contentment to know she is safe and happy when we are at work.”
At Enchanted Forest Inverkip we follow ‘Pre-Birth to Three: Positive Outcomes for Scotland’s Children and Families’ for our babies and staff work to build nurturing relationships with children whilst supporting them at this early stage of their learning journey.
As children grow we follow the Curriculum for Excellence and ‘Building Ambition’ in providing planned activities and experiences that enrich and further promote individual development.
We very much focus on a culture of ‘learning through play’ which allows children to learn through experimenting and experience as this is the way they learn best. Our children also explore the natural environment that we are surrounded by including the forest and beach.
With a well- equipped outdoor area, outdoor play and learning play a major role in the development of the children who come through our magical doors. We deliver planned activities and experiences in the great outdoors, opening children’s minds to learning in a new environment.
