Peppa Pig and George Came to Play at our Successful Open Day!

Wow! What a day!photo 1
Enchanted Forest Early Learning in Robroyston opened its magical doors to the public for the first time on Saturday 25th April, welcoming families of Robroyston, Bishopbriggs and surrounding areas to discover the magical world of Enchanted Forest Early Learning.
Having already had numerous enquiries and even many bookings before opening, we were expecting a busy day! We were delighted to meet many parents, children, parents-to- be, grandparents, cousins and friends who all were thrilled to see our brand new, purposefully designed new nursery.
Our ethos at Enchanted Forest Early Learning is ‘Where Little People Feel Precious’ and like every day at Enchanted Forest, this was the most important thing for us on our Open Day.
Whilst the parents were given a guided tour of the nursery, asked questions and spoke with our staff team, there was plenty to keep the children entertained! Each room was set up with activities to encourage learning and play and included painting, sand and water play, construction, science, numeracy, literacy and much more! The sunshine even came out for our Open Day allowing parents and children alike to explore our wonderful discovery garden which will be used to promote outdoor learning.
Two very special guests came to join us at our Open Day! Peppa Pig and George were on hand to welcome children to the nursery and join in the fun, pose for pictures, hand out balloons and giving lots of high 4
It is safe to say that the Enchanted Forest Early Learning Open day was a great success for Enchanted Forest and also for the parents and children of Robroyston and surrounding areas who have found somewhere very special for their children to grow and develop. We have had a wealth of bookings both before and since the Open Day and look forward to providing the very best in early learning and childcare in the area.

Katie Maun, Nursery Manager for EF Robroyston comments on the success of the Open Day
“I was proud to be able to showcase the new nursery to so many prospective families and to introduce them to the new team here at Enchanted Forest Robroyston. It was lovely to welcome the parents that I had been corresponding with before the Open Day, and to meet their little ones after hearing so much about them. I was also delighted that so many new prospective parents turned up on the day with their children, and the feedback we received from all of the families that attended was lovely to hear.
Along with my new staff team, I aim to create a warm, supportive and responsive environment from the very first day and we will endeavour to make sure that all parents, carers and children feel valued as a part of our new nursery family. We have exciting plans for the children to get involved with right from the start: we will be getting our hands dirty in our beautiful nature garden, planting lots of flowers, vegetables and herbs for the children to nurture and explore; we will also be creating lots of lovely displays throughout the nursery, engaging in messy and creative experiences, so that the children will benefit from a beautiful, stimulating environment which they have helped to create. I can’t wait to get started.”
